LOVE 4 THE CHILDREN

    This month we had a few trips to the Rudensk boarding school. Our visits to the orphanage are always filled with joy, because there are our friends. God richly bless this boarding school, and the lives of many children in the boarding school change by Him. At one meeting, we watched a film on the name “The Butterfly Circus” with Nick Vujnich. An example of this man’s life has left a deep imprint on the children’s hearts. The vast majority of children do not believe in themselves, they need someone who will tell them “I believe in you.” And this film showed them that you can fight even when there is nothing – even when there is no arms and no legs. This film showed them that you can fight even in a desperate situation. After the film, we made a small conclusion that each of the guys sitting in the room, is special and can achieve a lot, if not to give up, when he will fight to the end. We told them that we believe that they will reach the best – get a good education, will have a good job, and strong family. The main thing is that they will not give up, the main thing that they have chosen the right path in life – the path with God. At one meeting, we decided just to play games with the kids. Each of them has received attention and was able to participate in active games – run, jump, and most important, to win.
It is great happiness when you can help the children from the orphanage, mentally, physically, and spiritually. And so happy to see a change in the lives of children. When they cease to smoke, swear, insult the other guys, but begin to help others and to protect others. Of course, the fight for guys’ lives do not stop for a minute, but the victory is – in the hearts of many children God has settled himself. We thank everyone who supported us in prayer and financially. God will reward you all for your concern for us and the children orphans! God bless you!

In February, we continued to travel to Rudensk boarding. In this boarding all of our meetings have focused on thematic dialogue. We had three main topics: “How to survive the pain of loss,” “right relationship between guy and girl”, “What is important to study the Bible for?”. At the end of the month, we were divided into two groups: boys separately, girls separately. The boys talked about how to aspire to be a “real man in the eyes of God,” and the girls were talking about what is “feminine”. Each of these themes seemed to us quite complex to understand these guys, but at the same time, it is very urgent. Because each of them has experienced the pain of loss, some in their 15-16 years have made a lot of mistakes, creating a wrong relationship with a boyfriend or girlfriend. Many of the children today are in a very active search for God, so it is not superfluous to tell them, which is the believer to study the Bible.

If to talk about the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette Party” – what we call the meeting, when boys and girls are going to separate, they passed under a special blessing! After all, a lot of guys – teens, live in that humiliate the weak, beat younger and consider it a normal way of life. The sad thing is that in this way they are trying to prove to others that this is manifested their masculinity. The girls, in their turn, dressed in men’s clothes, smoking, are rude, thus eventually losing femininity that they contain God. Because of this, we took the chance to speak on these, sufficiently complex topic. But we believe that in the hearts of these guys in any way anything left! During the lesson, we have seen just how many guys tried to carefully listen to what we says, and in the end they could even ask questions! Most of all I ask you to pray that the word sown in the boarding school at the right time has brought value results to God!

It is a great blessing and inspiration to see the guys from the Rudensk boarding school open to God, as they carefully and intently listen to Bible stories, participate in worship and prayer. And looking at them,I thank God for His love and mercy, for His heart, which can accommodate children. I want to tell you about the Christmas party, which was held recently. There came the team from Germany with congratulations and gifts for the children, and friends from the church with a Christmas staging. As long as the installation of decorations lasted, children talked excitedly at the door of the assembly hall in anticipation of something wonderful. Of course, getting presents a very pleasant event, I admit, but the evening dedicated to the birthday of Jesus Christ was awesome. Kids and teens, all participated in the evening, glorified Christ by singing, playing, and after the performance answered the questions that Dima asked. Looking at the children, I pray and thank the Lord that His Word consistently and effectively. It transforms lives of the guys and gives meaning, hope and joy!

My dear friends! I’d like to tell you about our trips to Rudensk orphan school this month.

   Starting from the very beginning of the month, we were providing Advents, the holidays to remind about Jesus Christ contribution in this world. These holidays were to remind us that Christ brought us Glory, Peace, Love, and Hope. Such topics were very familiar to children from various orphanages, including Rudensk orphanage. Every one of them has very few positive moments in life. So we were telling them how they can possibly reach that “unreachable” happiness. We were telling them about angels, about peace on the Earth; it had a real relaxing effect on children, who were tired from everyday stress and tension in the world, which was lacking such peace. We were talking about the real love and how the one can reach such love: you need to believe in Jesus Christ. After one of such sessions one kid asked me if he also could get such love by just believing. I gave him my solid “Yes!” on it; I told that the faith would change the life in a better way. Our last Advent was about the Hope, something that orphans are missing severely:  the Hope for a better life and the Hope for the eternal life in afterlife. Thus, we told them about Christmas, and we wanted to prepare them for this the most delightful winter holiday. We also managed to contribute to them various things from people, who are not indifferent to orphans.

We had to make some of our meetings in the hallways because of global repairs, but these orphans did not stop coming. I sincerely thank everybody for all your financial and spiritual contribution!

Luda, Alesya, Valya, Nastya, Vika, Katya, Pauline, Andrew, Alex, Nick and the other guys from the Rudensk orphanage, which 3 months ago I did not know, today became close and important people in my life. This boys and girls with their joys and sorrows, experiences and concerns, talents and abilities. They have a common life tragedy, but all are very different. I pray to be a light and example for them. Talking about the most important, I want to know about the young God’s guidance and protection, and to resist evil and cruelty are not alone, and with full confidence and trust in our Heavenly Father.

This month again we had the opportunity to arrange for children from boarding in Rudensk puppet show. Through puppets guys could hear about the consequences resulting disobedience senior. Especially I want to note the “Stag” and “Hen parties.” This meeting, when boys and girls are going in separate classes, chatting on various topics, share their feelings and secrets. The boys in this month talking about hygiene, and how it is important to monitor your body. Girls just learning to be hostesses. As a practical task, girls can show their culinary skills. They had the opportunity to decorate your cake as they like. Even at this point, we could once again underline the extent to which each of them is unique. After all, no one decorated cake was not like the others!

In early September, we were very much worried about the fact that there were very few children who come to our meetings. But to date, we are grateful to God for what he sends us guys who want to make their lives changed! At our meetings, at present, about 30 children, who try not to miss a single meeting. Glory to God!
