In August: Camp “Purpose Driven Life.”

Posted: August 21, 2012 by Dobr9k in Uncategorized

Greetings to you my friends!
I thank God for what He has blessed us with just an amazing camp! Thank you very much for your support, both prayerful and financial! Thanks to God and to your participation could place our camp!
Throughout the year, we prayed that the summer camp could take place, and a lot of guys could relax and learn of a loving God. We prayed and believed that God himself will be present to bless the children, and keep them in the camp. And it did, it was a special time for special blessings!
Our camp was called “The Purpose Driven Life.” The camp was planned for teens, but God always makes adjustments in the lives of people and there were also ten children aged from 6 to 10 years. There were 43 children in the camp and fourteen leaders. The camp was attended by children from three boarding schools. Among them were several deaf children. We are very chew those guys, as this was our first experience with these children, but God has blessed and given us the opportunity to get close with these guys. The Lord showed that the open heart overflowing with love of God, is able to withstand even the language barrier. Although in the first two days we were in a panic, because we did not know how to make contact with deaf children. We thought this is something that is not real and shut! But a 3-4 day we realized how these children are open to dialogue and to the adoption of the Biblical truths. Moreover, God revealed what they see how much our mood and how much they are analyzing our every action. Thank God for these guys and for a new experience in our ministry!

Ten unforgettable days! Despite the fact that the camp lasted only ten days, this time it was really a turning point in the lives of many children. Mutilated fate cursed life – this is what always depresses orphans. But in the ten days we have tried to give children hope, that life can change, that everything is under the control of God. That Jesus came into the world in order to take the lives of people crippled, cursed life, rejected the heart, heal every pain and give seeking freedom. Spoke as the children themselves, “This camp was not just camping, because I had never once tried to run away from the orphanage, because that’s what I felt like boarding or who do not fit. I thought that my life has no meaning. But in this camp, I met Jesus, and c is in the camp, I realized that someone carefully replaced the valueof my life so that I did not die. ” Such comments guys just can not leave us indifferent. Camp – a great time to reassess life values!
In addition, the camp – is a meeting with God. It is here that says a lot about how to build relationships with people, how to set goals in life and how to move toward established goals and dreams. But the main thing is that it is God who is the engine of success, it is God who helps and especially blesses the children – followers! With God’s world takes paint and appears the goal is not just to live life and make each day memorable and unique. Life is too short to live without God! That Christ is willing and able to heal and maintain. Every day in the camp was not just a day, and this struggle. We were with the team in the post, because they saw how Satan opposes and it is constantly working to ensure that children do not come to terms with God. But thanks to the power of God and prayer support of many people, some of the guys in the camp received Christ into his heart. There were those guys who often wondered how to commit suicide, but it is through this camp, we were free to talk to children about the value of every human life.
We are overwhelmed with the most joyful emotion, because about fifteen young people accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior true! The guys describe their feelings in the following words: “It feels like the chip on my shoulder had fallen! I do not know why, but after a prayer of repentance, I felt relieved, there was peace. ” During prayer, repentance, we prayed to God for that He destroyed ancestral curse, that he stepped in and changed the fate of these children. Now, we believe that God is able to change the life of children, especially those who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior. We believe that this camp was the start of a new life for the children, but now with our Heavenly Father! Please also pray for the future impact on the lives of these children, because few pray a prayer of repentance, it is important and appropriate to live life! Therefore, pray, please, that the repentant children continued to seek God in your life!
With gratitude and respect, the team of the ministry to orphans in Belarus!

Greetings friends!
I thank all of you who during the school year supported the ministry to the orphans in Belarus! We thank all who helped us prayerfully, financially, as well as those who helped things! Friends, what a great privilege to carry God’s instructions! And with a team like we have, every thing is possible! Over this year we have sown the seed of love and hope! We believe that the trips that we made during the school year, bear harvest that will have a significant impact on our country, as well as a great contribution to the life eternal, and the spread of God’s will.
Everyone knows that children are the future of not only the country but also around the world. We believe that united we will be able to influence and change the world. In this academic year were held more than one hundred and sixty meetings in every boarding school, of which five were held evangelistic meetings. More than twenty young people accepted Christ. We pray and ask you, what would you also pray for that to guys who have accepted Christ as their Savior, to keep their faith until the end.
We thank God for the fact that we can perform the service and make up children needs! Throughout the school year, we could see how children have changed and how to change their lives. We believe that in the future ministry of orphans will bear harvest in the kingdom of God.
We thank all those who sacrificed their finances to “warm the apartment” for graduates! We have seen how hard the guys enter into a world that too often becomes severe for those who have not yet emerged as a person. This year, we released our apartment the three girls. Thank God! We’ve got to give them basic skills, and now they can continue their own journey of life. Thank God for the fact that we can serve the graduates of boarding! Thanks to everyone who prayed for us and sacrificed and the time and money!
We are very grateful for the opportunity to not only fill the needs of orphans, but also for the opportunity to tell them about God! In addition, we pray and ask you to pray with dreams that have kids who are on vacation, to relax and keep in their hearts the seed, which were seed during the school year!

“Meeting with the orphanage alumni”

Posted: May 15, 2012 by Dobr9k in Uncategorized

Not so long ago we had a very interesting and heart-warming meeting. We went to a little town of Marjina Gorka where six former wards of Slutsk orphanage study. Those young people graduated from orphanage two years ago. At present Slutsk orphanage is closed and its wards were redirected to other different orphanages. Elder orphans were sent to colleges.
Besides our weekly visits to orphanages we reg
ularly meet with orphanage alumni. We don’t get such meetings often as we can’t visit all Belarusian towns. We all hope that God will create new teams, will find new people eager to serve abandoned children both during their time at the orphanage and outside its walls.
Such meetings are usually equally full of joy and sadness because when we get to
gether we learn how former orphans are dealing with their lives. We are happy when we hear that they could get into college or get a good job, create a healthy and strong family and we are delighted when we get to know that they attend church. However, not everybody can get on with their lives. Sometimes we learn that someone from the orphanage has become a single parent, got into prison, abuses alcohol or drugs. Sometimes we learn about premature deaths of orphanage alumni. Why does it happen? May be it is because too often those youngsters are left alone with their feelings and problems. There is nobody to support them, to give good advice and help them overcome their hardships. That is why we call upon you to be more considerate and compassionate towards the people who are around you and especially towards orphans. It is God Himself who promises to bless those who care for at least one orphan.
Youngsters we met at Marjina Gorka are currently senior students at college. And again they face the question what to do after they graduate. That’s why, our foremost intention is to keep in touch with them and help them out with such social issues as housing and further education, we direct them to churches where they can get support and help.
We genuinely thank everybody who supports us in our ministry!

Christmas vacation with a litlle girl Valya.

Posted: January 11, 2012 by Dobr9k in Uncategorized

It was her first Christmas with Jesus!
When you ask the children from the orphanage that Christmas means to them, they respond that it presents, festive Christmas tree, and, of course, Santa Claus.
My story is about a little girl Valya from boarding school, which they spent holidays at my house with me. At this time, she understood the meaning of Christmas. These holidays were the best in the life of this girl! She was able to know the real story of the birth of the Savior Jesus Christ on this earth. And it was so cool to watch her shining eyes and a smile that is about to be reached out to the ears with joy when she helped us decorate the apartment and make delicious pies.
And it Christmas Eve! Everything is ready. Came the very moment when we are in a circle of friends and loved ones to tell the truth to the child. We told her that Christmas – it’s not just gifts and Christmas Tree … Christmas – the birth of Jesus is his holiday, his birthday. He came to save people, to give people hope and eternal life. And then we all prayedte the birthday of Jesus. And this smile never left her gentle little face. And we took care of my friends did it too pleasant, we presented her with gifts and told that God loves her very much and wants her too happy. The next day we went to church and to enjoy the holiday of Christmas with the church, and see the wonderful Christmas productions, and together praise God for His love for us!
Yes, this is a great blessing to hear the prayer of thanksgiving and an orphaned child to see her shining face and his eyes filled with joy and understanding of all that is happening! Great God, and through you He can change the lives of others. Just be obedient to His voice!
