LOVE 4 THE CHILDREN

In February some times we have visited Rudensk. On this time we have discussions on the following themes: “”Resentment”, “The internal state of a person,” “Most of all stored – keep your heart …”. The children liked this themes and were singing songs and play different games with joy. There are few problems with behavior of children in the time of prayers.
Last time we pay much attention to individual communication with children. All member of team has 2-3 children as friend. They tell us about their problems and ask to pray for them. We are very happy to see results because children change their behavior and are becoming other people. They think about sense of their lives and pray. Thanks God!
It is very nice when children say thanks to you for the evening, for games and for our meeting. When you see their smiles and feel gratitude of their hearts, you want to do more for them and God!
21th of February we hold sports relay with children. They were delighted! Thanks the games children can be one team they open to each other. This meeting children liked more because they could show their sports talents and to compete with each other. Also we saw that some children didn’t know what does it means to be one team, they can’t be friendly. But everything is in the future! We are planning to held such sport event next month.
Thanks God that He opens doors in orphanage. A lot of children a looking for words about God and His love and salvation…

Dear friends, I want to congratulate you on Christmas, our Saviour’s Birthday! I’m lacking words to describe how much God loved both the abandoned and those who have everything they wish. In God’s design there is a place for everyone, which means that there is Hope for everyone. Hope is such a sweet word, that comforts the soul, warms and fills it with peace, joy and love! This is exactly what every man needs! Blessed be the Lord, who sent His only Son to the earth so that people wouldn’t perish but have life. Have a merry Christmas, dear friends.
This month we’ve spent Christmas holidays in the boarding school in Rudensk. Christmas is the day of love and hope, people gather together at home and celebrate with the relatives, but it’s still impossible to understand how the abandoned kids can celebrate. What these children think, what they pray for and what they dream of. We tried to get an answer to these questions. When we came to the boarding school with our Christmas program all the kids and the stuff were present. The youth from the Bethlehem church helped us with the program. They kids were coming to the room and in some minutes the service began. Our purpose was to get acquainted with the kids, to tell them about Christmas and the gift of God to us. During the service children were participating in the games, were singing songs and answering the questions of the leaders.
After the service we were talking to the kids and when we asked about their dreams on the Christmas day, the answer was to spend this day at home with parents. Many kids dream about having their own parents. Many pray for the parents who are in prisons so that they would be released and would come to take them home. When you hear such unchildish answers it touches the very heart and you can’t be indifferent.
We gave out the presents we brought and reminded the kids once again that the most precious present we have is the present God gave us. Christ is the present that can’t be measured in money, because due to Him we have everlasting life.
Dear friends, thank you for youк contribution in this God’s ministry. Pray for the kids and the seed planted in their heart to bring fruit.

One more year comes to the end. There are a lot of questions in my heart: How did I spend this year? How did I organize my spare time? Whom did I help? Whom did I support? Whom did I make smiling?) To tell the truth, I did some good deeds. But at the same time I realize, how much I could do. I am very sorrow now for this. Most of all now I want God has made my heart more sensitive and attentive to problems of other people! There are so much pain, tears and loneliness! I have a desire to share with you thoughts that has concerned my heart on Christmas eve and New Year.

Talking to orphans from Rudensk boarding school, I’ve understood that while we are preparing for holidays, decorating the houses, buying gifts Year, children who are in boarding schools, especially strongly feel loneliness. Not for the first time they won’t have a holiday. There will not be a festive table, decorations, gifts and congratulations.

The most sad, there will not be loving and caring parents.

While the whole world is preparing for the holidays, children-orphans ask questions: Where do my parents now? How do they celebrate holidays? Why did it happen to me? Friends!!! Isn’t it enough for orphans to feel lonely in order we could forget about our personality and give a helping hand to those people who need it especially. If you are not indifferent to the children’ lives who are in orphanages now, give them your attention, your care and love. They do not wait for the rich gifts from you. They simply want someone could listen for them and be next to them.

I would like to tell you about our last visit to the Rudensk boarding school. As you know besides special meetings, which we call “lessons of self-support” we have separate meeting for girls and boys. These meetings help us to touch and discuss more deeply questions that concern adolescents . This is the time when girls can share their problems and worries with sisters from our group, while boys can talk with brothers.
Everyone has different life after leaving the boarding school. Unfortunately some might get in to the prison and many die before even reaching 18th birthday. Thus, our main concern is to teach girls and boys how to be a true women and men and how to be responsible for your own actions.
In our last meeting, we were talking to a 9 through 12th grade students about premarital sex, sexual relationship between boys and girls and consequences of such relationship. Thought most assume they know everything, in reality due the lack of knowledge, they could make mistake determining the fate of their own children. You understand urgency and importance to talk about this type of relationship, when you see an orphan giving birth to a baby, who most likely will suffer the same fate of an orphan. Unfortunately, this happens all the time; girls become pregnant and guys get into a prison with rape charges.
Pasha conducted a lesson. He tried to explain from different points of view that the results of sexual promiscuity are very deplorable. Being a doctor, Pasha told about consequences of promiscuity. Guys were very active, asked the most exciting questions, participated in discussion. Thanks to this lesson, everybody could receive qualified help. We know, God’s words always lead to life transformation. Both boys and girls were interested in how to build the right relations. In spite of the centuries, God’s Word still is able to change human lives.
We are so grateful to everyone who pray for us and help us financially to spread the kingdom of God.

Dear friends, I want to tell you, about our recent visit to boarding house in Rudensk. After arriving there, we were greeted by children with joyful faces and wide open arms. They are all different: there were those who wanted to get more attention; there were those who gesticulating, talked about how they worked hard or how their teachers treated them unfairly; there were also those who always embarrassed were close to us and felt happy when they were treated friendly or paid attention to them. Dinner time came various groups of children passed by. Many of them waved to us with their hands in greeting, or came to greet personally. It was obvious how important it is for them to say hello to each adult and feel that he is important to someone, even if he was not familiar to us.

After dinner, I felt very closely to my helplessness to these orphaned children. When another group of children left the dining room, the teacher stopped the kids to count them. These moments seemed like an eternity for me because a few pairs of children’s eyes stared at me. They just looked into my eyes. Said nothing, did not respond … just looked. There were not many of them, but we went to the other, also small group of children. And I realized that everything I can do – is to pass at least to a few of these children the love that God has given me.

After them a group of children which I knew appeared and we agreed to spend time together. The theme of this evening was the statement that “God created us special and we are important to God.” In this group there were 8 children of different ages – from about 6 to 8 years. First we played a game in which every child participated. It was obvious that they like to receive attention and appreciation from us and from their peers. After that, we sang a song with the movements about friendship, which had already learned. Despite the fact that not every child was able to pronounce words correctly, they were moving actively, showing the meaning of words by their movements. Then we watched together a cartoon about that each of us is important to God. And after the cartoon, we repeated the basic idea of a little mystery guessing that children once had heard that every one of them is unique, created by God and is important to God. At the end of our stay, we learned the new children’s song, which said that “in the palm of God there is no hunger, no orphans, and everyone can find a place there.”

At this time in another room the communication with the senior guys was over. This meeting organized the other part of our team. And soon we said goodbye to the guys got in the car together and drove home.

Thanks to God that He allows us to give His love to orphans. But thanks to you, dear friends, for your help in this service, both material and prays. God bless you!
