I would like to tell you about our trips to Belynichi in December. With the youngest kids we discussed such themes as “Job’s faithfulness”, “Birth of Jesus Christ”, and during one of the meetings we were doing crafts. I noticed that crafts
is one of the kid’s favourite activities. During the ceative process we strive to pay more attention to personal help for everyone, to show care about the children, to let them reveal their creative potential and implement thier ideas. Doing crafts we always seek opportunity to communicate personally with every kid, but of course not always it is possible, because there’s only one hour to finish their handicrafts,
and we want everyone of them to leave the lesson being happy. Sometimes it seems to me that our visits have no results at all. But receiving serious questions from the kids I understand and get assured that they hear and understand us. And only God knows every kid’s heart. A
nd only God has strength to change hearts. I get surprised by their questions when they ask: “and when I die I will be with Jesus in heavens as long as I believe????” or “Will God forgive me if I believe???” Each trip provokes more changes in my heart than visible chages in kids which I expect to see. But the children
do change, and it encourages us and brings much joy.I liked what one of the elder boys said to Dima: “During holidays time a lot of people come to us with merry programmes. But only you come to us for real because you tuly love us and want to be friends with us. I was touched by such sencere observations. The elder children had such topics this month: “Greed”, “Not simply a carpenter”, “Life of Jesus Christ”, “Not an ordinary Teacher”. By the example of Christ’s life Dima spoke about hope and, of course, delivered many other important thoughts to the kids. He told that each of us and of the children has the opportunity for changes in life. And that Jesus proved His love by His life, and now for us He is the true example, Teacher, Saviour. He is the one who understands us genuinely.
Hello, dear reader. I want to tell you about our orphanage visits in this month. I conducted lessons for the kids. We talked about Noah,
the Tower of Babel and Christmas. Every lesson starts with a prayer. Together with the children we
build the so called prayer house. The guys take the initiative and pray, which is great! The story about Noah made the kids understand it’s necessary to be a righteous person who helps others and does some good, and to be grateful. Also we told them how important it is to build personal relations with God, because He loves everyone. The tower of Babel story made it clear that God doesn’t like proud people and hates when they sin and do not trust Him. During the lesson we tried to speak different languages with the children and they had no idea what we were talking about. Also we tried to build a tower from cups, but they didn’t manage to finish it, because some guy destroyed it. At
last, one of the most important lessons was the one about the birth of Jesus Christ. We
discussed the true meaning of Christmas. The guys learned the story about the birth of Jesus and the reason why He came to the Earth.I like when the guys ask and answer questions during the topic, which makes our conversation lively. I’m glad when they remember our lessons and then retell previous topic. We are grateful to God for the children that we may visit, for the team and your prayers. Friends, let’s constantly pray for orphans, amen.
Greetings brothers and sisters! I thank God for the opportunity to serve Him and spread His Kingdom on earth! In November we had the opportunity to serve in Smilovichy
orphanage. It is so joyful to see God moving and doing his work! Yarik and Paulina – older children, often asked us such questions as: “Why are we in the orphanage? Why did God allow such a situation in their lives?” Indeed, as children they don’t deserve to live in the orphanage. Not childish questions encourage us to hold non-standard meetings. This month we have destroyed the delusion that have permeated every orphanage. Almost all of the
children in the orphanages think that God is evil, He seeks out our mistakes and then punishes us. Once during our conversation with Yarik he said: “Maybe we did something wrong and God is punishing us and that’s why we are in the orphanage now.” I said: ” Yarik and Pauline, God is a loving Father who doesn’t want His children to perish.” After we kept
telling them that God is pure and His thoughts towards us are pure. He wants us to have a correct idea of Him. That evening we prayed to their mother could solve all the problems quiсkly and be able to take them from the shelter. Another deception was over! The devil slanders and deceives children and people, but God is not like the devil, He is loving and compassionate. We talked for a long time with the guys, and then I advised them to pray and told them that God hears prayers and answers them. God is omnipresent, and He will definitely help. When we
arrived at the orphanage next time, we found out that Yarik and Paulina were taken by their mother . God allows different moments to happen, so children can see God’s reality and believe in His love and power. Faith and prayer always lead to change. I’m glad for guys being homes! Let us pray that the sprouts of faith will bear fruit at the time! Also this
month three more children were brought. They are brothers and sister. In the photo you can see children who have never heard of God in their lives. We are so glad that we can come and talk about God to them. And later, as a result we can see delight in children’s eyes when they realize that God is real! “Dima, tell me who God is? Is He strong? Can He protect me when I’m scared? And does God have angels? Are they beautiful?”- so many simple questions that children are interesting in. We told a story about Adam and Eve, and then we painted a picture with a
biblical plot and it was interesting how the children were retelling the story during the painting. Many words were swallowed, and some words were poorly pronounced. But God was especially felt in that place. Then we were discussing Cain and Avel. How envy destroys not only friendship, but even brothers become enemies. But the purpose of this lesson was to help them learn how to speak when they feel bad, sad or ask if they want something, but not to steal and fight. We told them how parents teach children not to be upset, but to say everything that they feel so that anger or envy won’t reach and destroy them. It seems that the children are waiting for us every Tuesday and expecting new biblical stories from us. Every child may be changed! Look at the photos on our website, pray for the children that they will be found by a loving family! God bless you!
In November I held all the meetings with the older guys. We held with them sport relays.
When we participate in various competitions all together, we become сloser and the guys begin to trust us more. I believe that no word of Scripture is wasted. I know, all the topics like “fear, envy, greed” and the texts from the Bible
that we’ve been thinking about with the guys will bear fruit, if not now then later. Fear, envy and greed are very urgent problems for them, which they live in for years and can’t do anything about it. And our tasks are to help them to
understand how they can coupe with these problems, show a way out of these situations, to direct them end tell them that Lord is able to release them from all their difficult situations and problems. At the end of our meetings we invite everyone to pray and some guys ( n
ew ones who haven’t prayed yet) agree to pray with us. Thus we can see how our works and the action of the Holy spirit change the guys. Polina and Zhenya prayed with me for the last time. Zhenya (as far as know) prayed the first time. It’s hard for the guys to come out, as the others make fun of them. Our task is to explain that life with the Lord is interesting and vivid. We want to show the children an interesting God, who is able to change their lives for
the better. This month, the children began to pray even more. The prayers of the children, their conversations with God are so touching: “Lord, thank you for coming guys and thank you for not forgetting us!” “Lord, help our parents to change and make everything good for them”, ” Lord, guys offend and insul

t me, help me!”. I’m glad that the Bible lessons we teach, help children to get to know God. Children do their homeworks enthusiastically. So nice to see how the guys try to accurately retell the lesson. And it’s not even a prize they will receive, but they just want to remember the lessons and they memorise them ! God changes children through His word. And our visits to the children help to deepen further the understanding of God’s love and care of them. It’s nice to see that the team that serves God is changing too and every child gets mentor and friend. All these are possible due to prayers, that give strength and help to move in the direction of God’s plan. Friends, thank you for your prayers! Thank you for your work for God! Let’s pray for the children on the eve of Christmas!
Once it turned cold, it became more and more difficult to get outside, but it didn’t impact our meetings with the guys. So every week, as usually, we met with them. Our lesson topics were
”Noah’s ark”, “The tower of Babel”, “Moses”. Though the guys were familiar with these topics there was no lack of interest. Through Noah’s story we emphasized that God hates sin, but sees and loves people loyal to him. Then they answered the questions and for every right answer they were
allowed to “save” one pair of paper animals, which were stuck on the poster with the ark. They tried to do their best to get that animals. One more interesting moment was during the story about the tower of Babel. Everyone was allowed to speak any language one knew. English, German, Italian, even French were used. Then we found out we did not understand each other. It is when our story about the tower began. I memorized the boy Vanya’s prayer at
the end of the lesson. In his prayer he wanted the school to change, so that it would be peace instead of feud and misunderstanding like in Babilon. It was really sincere and touching. Despite other children’s mockery he continued praying and then it became quiet. I hope everyone heard that short and honest prayer and changings will take place. Changings in the hearts of the guys and the educators first. The older guys discussed “Revenge”, “Fears”, “Envy”, “Greed” which are simple, but always actual and important topics. We’re praying for changings in the children’s hearts and glad we can be with them and be a little part of their lives.
