In April our trips to Vileyka continued. The guys from this boarding school are always pleased with the 
way they prepare for our arrival. When
we drive up to the school, several high school students usually meet us at the gate, then they open the door of the boarding school building, go for the keys to the assembly hall where our meetings take place, then arrange the equipment and chairs themselves. Usually, this is the place where we can just come, greet the guys and just start our program! This month, we celebrated Easter. Therefore, we dedicated one of the meetings to the holiday of the Resurrection of 
Jesus Christ! It is very sad that most of the children associate Easter with Easter cakes, rabbits and eggs. Even though every year we try to tell them about what Jesus Christ did, we still have to repeat it all over again, because the society forgets more and more about the most important essence of this holiday. But we don’t give up! We talked with the guys about Christ and His feat again and again ! After the meeting, we had the opportunity to present gifts with hygiene items and sweets to the children. Special thanks to those who collected these gifts! The children were delighted!
In addition, this month we have completed a series of topics in Vileyka about the miracles of Jesus Christ. The children were especially impressed by the story of how four good friends brought their paralyzed friend through the roof to Jesus, who healed him!
Let’s hope that God will continue to work with children’s hearts and they will not only hear about God, but also let Him into their hearts, into their lives!

We talked with the children about fears; about how God looked at the heart; about how David also made mistakes in his life, but whatever happened he came to God; we talked about jealousy and the consequences it can lead to; we also talked about friendship, using the example of the relationship between David and Jonathan; we also talked about Easter and we discussed the history 
of the holiday, its significance in our day and traditions. In order to bring the information to the kids as clear as possible, we prepared auxiliary materials such as 
video clips, slide shows, thematic games and visual examples. In addition to the breakdown of the topics, we were able to talk with many of the kids in person. On one of the topics we discussed was fears, Sasha suggested that the children think about the fears that are keeping them from living. As well he offer to stay longer those kids who would like us to pray for them personally. There were stayed about 10 kids, whom we divided among all the team members. I prayed for the two girls. I was surprised to know that both of 
them are named Sveta). Immediately we tried to figure out what fears they would like to pray for. One of the girls had difficulty expressing her thoughts, but we were able to find out
that she was afraid of insects and would like to be less afraid of them. The second girl said that she was ridiculed and called names in class because she wanted to do well in school and get good grades. It is difficult for her to be in class and communicate with children who hurt her. I prayed for them and so did the rest of our team. Also this month we started not just praying for the kids, but teaching
them to be more conscious of prayer, teaching them to address God in prayer, to bring their fears and problems to Him. We suggested that the kids not just listen to our prayer, when someone from the team prayed for them, but that everyone who wanted to join in repeatedly pray with someone from the team. Almost all of the kids are praying with us in this way. I’d also like to note that most of the children are well aware of the Bible stories we studied, they quickly and accurately answer our questions, reflect, ask interesting and deep questions. On one visit I noticed one boy who greeted us, came to meet us, and then left and only came for a topic breakdown. He missed the time when we were socializing with the kids, playing, singing songs. After the meeting I asked him why he did that – he said he didn’t know. I told him that we weren’t just coming to tell them a Bible story, that it was important for us to spend
time with the kids in person, that we all noticed and felt that we would like to spend more time together with them. At the following meetings this boy never left again. Last week we brought small gifts of various stationery to the children who were at our meeting and I was really touched by the reaction of one of the boys when he opened his gift. It was such sincere and great joy for such mundane things! It made me step back and look at my life from different perspective and thank God for what I have!
Using the example of his story, such questions were considered: that only God makes us significant, that He looks at ours hearts, not at the faces, when God is behind us, we are not afraid of any giants. God forgives and accepts like the loving father, He treats us unlike our earthly parents sometimes do. I told them examples from the 
lives of the guys who were in my team at a summer camp. One girl could not forgive her mother for a long time, and one guy blamed God for the death of his parents. I understand that many children from the boarding school live with this feeling of not forgiving their parents, which destroys them. Therefore, I tried to explain how important it is to forgive.
There was also the theme of Easter. We were discussing why someone should have ever die for us and our sins.
are waiting for us very much, they meet us, they are happy to help, as well as take the initiative themselves – they help to carry things, prepare the classroom for the meeting. They bring their drawings to show us, give them to us.
At our meetings, I try to approach those guys who are sitting alone and do not communicate with others. I talked to one of such girls, asked how she was doing, what was bothering her. She didn’t want to share anything right away, but the next time she came over to talk to me, to tell me about herself.
Belynichi orphanage. This month we have finished studying the topics about the miracles of Jesus Christ that He performed during His life on earth, and the most important thing we wanted to convey to them is that the time of Jesus’ miracles is not over, because He has risen, which means He is alive today! We consolidated the topics covered by watching a film about the miracles of Christ manifested in 
the modern world. It is difficult to describe in words the delight that the children expressed! For many, it was really surprising that the miracles did not end and that Jesus could manifest them in the life of each of the children who would believe in Him. While watching the movie, many guys turned away to quietly wipe off their tears. And after the meeting, each of them wanted us to talk to him or her and pray for their needs. It 
was felt that each child had his own hope for his own personal miracle. Next, we have started a series of topics about David, which we hope to continue next month. Another joyful thing of this month was the opportunity for more people from the team to come to the boarding school, thanks to which there was an opportunity to personally communicate with a large number of children. Today, beside our small country, events 
are taking place that cause pain, fear and confusion. Therefore, our team is now even more actively trying to support orphans, because they are already deprived of parental warmth and are in isolated conditions in many ways, and now they need support, encouragement and hope even more. Very soon the next graduates will leave the boarding school. Therefore the guys try to spend as much time as possible with our team, 
help arrange chairs and equipment before meetings, maintain discipline and are already asking if we can come to visit them and communicate with them after they graduate from the school. And the children who are still at school are happy that they will have the opportunity to come to our meetings many more times! It is also very inspiring that a large number of teachers have come to our meetings, they can also hear about God in a simple and accessible way. There are fewer and fewer teachers who once were against the believers! Thank God! We thank everyone who continues to support our ministry financially and prayerfully, as well as everyone who simply cares about the fate of the orphans of our country!
great to see the faces of the children again, to notice the positive changes and to be happy about their successes! This month we have finished the series of topics on Jesus Christ and the miracles He performed during His life. The one thing they all had in common was that God is always there, He is here, He hears and is ready to reach out and do miracles in the lives of those who still believe in Him today! For many these truths were key. The kids knew firsthand what loneliness, rejection and abandonment were. But the news that there is Someone 
Who cares, Someone who loves them and is willing to solve their problems made many of them think, and it was visible in their faces. That’s what’s important to them every day. That’s what really gets to them. A memorable moment was when, after our conversation, Sasha offered 
to pray for the fears the children have. We were divided into small groups and the guys began to tell what was bothering them. It was touching that they were asking us to pray for their parents, who had abandoned them, and for the war between Russia and Ukraine to be over as soon as possible. The guys, who need love so badly, clearly understand how the world needs love, so that all the terrible things that are happening now would stop. At moments like that you understand that
everything that is being said through us is not in vain. And even if now there are no clear and visible results of repentance, which sometimes you desire so much, but I believe that for each of us God has his own plan of salvation! At the end of the month, we began a series of topics on David that we plan to continue next month. We hope that these topics will also be relevant and from the example of David’s life, they will be able to see the benefits of living with God!
