In spite of grey and cold October our visits of this orphanage became even more joyful and bright. We could eventually build 
close relationships with new comers, who had just begun to attend our meetings! Praise the Lord! This year the make-up of the orphans has changed very much because many graduates left the orphanage. 
The teenagers that started to come to us are more difficult to work with mostly because of their mental and physical disabilities. At the beginning it was a little bit hard to work with them but God has done wonderful things opening children’s hearts to His Word and giving wisdom to the people from our team who prepare Bible lessons.
This month we continued speaking about friendship: ‘Friendship in action’, ‘Not like others’, ‘How to go through the pain from loss’. Each of the topics was urgent for the orphans. 
For almost each of them was labeled as ‘not like others’ or a ‘black’ sheep or lost friends because of different reasons, and the main problem is that a few of them understand how to be a friend in practice not in word only even if they would like to be such friends. 
That’s why we devoted three month to the topic of ‘Friendship’. Besides common meetings we arranged boys’ and girls’ time. The girls had a private talk about the purpose of women. They also talked about God’s will for women, their self-acceptance and self-improvement. The boys-teenagers talked about the purpose of men. They talked a lot about the inner core of a man, his leadership and importance of working not only on appearance but the heart.
We believe and hope that we didn’t waste this time. We hope that the kids will be able to use this knowledge in practice! God bless them in this!

Our team continues to visit children in Smilovochi hospice with pleasure. We do it to share our love and gospel with them. 
After Anzhelika has told the story about Noah’s Ark, it was nice that the most of children already new this story and actively took part in discussion. When we play together we try to discover aptitude of every child and encourage them. 
Very much the other way they had to hear a lot of criticism in their life, at school, from their friends, parents. This is one of the reasons why they felt a shame and guilty for their parent’s behavior.
Every child felt confidence and shared the story of his/her life. For example, Luba has two families. One is the real, the other is foster home. Her biological parents were so busy drinking alcohol, so they had no time to take care of her daughter. Guardianship service had to stand up for her as a result. The service officials took Luba away from her real family and placed her in the hospice, where she stayed almost for one year. Once upon a time some family decided to adopt Luba. 
That’s how Luba became a member of a foster home. We remember that day, her sparkling eyes when the girl shined like the sun, because she got hope for new life. 
When new parents finished with formalities, they took Luba at home. Unfortunately, all the things went wrong and joyful expectations were changed by new pain and frustration. Severe beatings, cruel treatment – were the part of what Luba had to experience in new family. At the end of all ends Luba was returned back in the hospice.
Our main goal is to help every child to accept God and the fact that God is the Father of all orphans! When we spend our time with them, playing games, being engaged in creativity, telling new bible stories, we try to show that God cares about every child. We hope that their lives will be saved and destinies will be changed for good and forever.
After short summer break, we have visited a shelter in Smilovichi again. In summer all of children were in camps, 
that’s why they were very happy to see us, to hug us, to play with us and just to tell us about themselves!
Eight children have met us. Two of them were in shelter for first time. During whole time we were speaking, there was very happy and friendly atmosphere there. Our communication was very close.
At the first meeting we had a lesson on the creation of the world with visual aids. We were answering all children’s question gladly. It was evident that they are interested in and understand what we talked about. At the next meeting there was a story about two brothers, Cain and Abel. 
Children honestly said that they do not want to do like Cain, and want to love their brothers and sisters.
We noticed that they have become more kind, somebody have become more open to the expression of love. 
They began to trust adults more. Some children say that thanks to communicating with us, they become less fearful of feeling that they are not wanted.
At the last meeting of this month we have had an art lesson. There, together with the guys we were making beautiful boxes. The purpose of this lesson is to develop fine motor skills in children, as well as the development of memory and attention. We believe that in children it is important to invest spiritual truths. But it is also important to discover a talent of each child and help to develop it.
We are very pleased to see the results of each lesson. We are grateful to the Lord for this ministry !!!
So here we come again starting our ministry for orphans! So many positive emotions, happy smiles on children’s faces and the desire to share with you what we’ve done during the summer. That’s how we can describe September!
At the moment there are more little kids in Belynichie boarding-school. 
There are lots of new kids who we already got to know. We decided to divide them in 3 groups because their knowledge and the development is different. We hope that it will help to get to know more kids and there will be more chances to build strong relationships with them.
We’ve already done bible lessons based on stories from Old Testament in groups with the little ones. Creation of the world, the sin of Adam and Eve, story about Cain and Abel and of course – Noah’s arch. May be it seems that these are very simple examples, but they show how great and powerful our God is!
Older children have “the month of friendship” right now. We’ve chosen a friendship topic for our meetings with them. This topic is of current interest for secondary school students. Unfortunately, many of the children that age picture this term incorrectly. So we talked about faithfulness in friendship, showing love in friendship and why we need friends. At one of the meeting we did a lot of sport’s activities so that little kids could participate as well. 
It was great to see that children now accept not only their successes , but also their defeats! 
Both teams got consolation prizes at the end of competitions.
It is also amazing to feel how children trust you and at the end of every meeting they look for a chance to talk to you one to one, to tell you about their thoughts and worries, disappointments, and sometimes big and small joys.
When we come home after a regular visit we feel physically exhausted but at the same time we are so delighted that we spent such a great time with children! Praise God for such an amazing time!
Hello everybody!
A new study year has started. We with the team have been preparing for this event for a long time, because the beginning of the school 
year is a quite exciting event for the children and for us. During the summer, all graduates have gone to other schools or got a job, so there were only guys who constantly come to us, or came just for a few meetings.
At the very first meeting we decided to hold relays. First of all – it allows kids through physical activity to perform different tasks to splash out emotions that have accumulated over the holidays. And secondly, the relay – this is a very good way quickly to get a close dialogue and to pay attention, as much as possible, of the new guys who used to come to us.
I thank God for the opportunity to serve to the children, because during our meetings we help children to solve problems that exist in the lives of children and to help them in self-developing.
It was very nice to hear that kids missed us. Many of them said that they really wanted us to come as soon as possible.
I want to say that there are visible changes in children. We see how the guys who previously searched only personal gain, began to be responsive, attentive and began to respect more the guys that surround them. 
Largely it has become possible because of the regular visits to the orphanage.
On the next meeting a lot of guys have come. We talked to them on the theme of friendship. We told them how to choose a real friend, and showed different examples of friends – both good and bad. Our goal is to help children to make new friends, to learn themselves to be real friends, and most importantly – to show an example of God as our friend, Who shows us an example of true friendship. Because when they come out of the boarding school, they should be able to make friends in the new companies, to find real friends, and to set personal boundaries.
Friends, I ask you to support prayerfully our ministry that the word that is sown would change their lives and their destinies have been changed for the better.
