For many people December is a month which is full of bright celebrations That’s why our team tried to make this time unusual for the orphans from Vileyka orphan school.
The first December Friday was devoted to sport. Older boys gathered a team of football players. It must be admitted that the teenagers play very well. They competed with Sergey Divokov’s team. Although students who were brought by Sergey are not professional players they are keen on football very much and attend trainings regularly.
The game finished up with friendly hugs and chocolate medals. 
The teenagers from Minsk got acquainted with the teenagers from Vileyka and talked to them. That was good time for making contacts. Unfortunately, not all of the football players from the orphan school could take part in the competition because of lack of time. But their new friends from Minsk promised to come again.
The game came out to be exciting because besides the sportsmen there were a lot of fans who actively took part in the process. They painted their faces and supported the teams from the stands.
We eventually watched the film ‘Coach Carter’ till the end. The children liked the film so we will surely discuss it next year.
December 16 became a great day for the children because Alla Smolyakova came and brought her wonderful crafts. This time the teenagers had to decoupage a Christmas cup. Each of them could choose a festive napkin for making a cup in an individual way. 
We tried to help everyone and thus become closer to them. The teenagers thoroughly followed Alla’s instructions and as a result everyone got a useful thing – a beautiful cup with a cover which can be used as a case for pencils or other small things.
During the crafts it is much easier to keep discipline and talk to the teenagers because they are so involved in the process. That’s why we also arranged a geographical quiz with sweet prizes.
At the same time smaller children got to know about the events which took place 2000 years ago. The real wise men came to them to share the Christmas story. As the real wise men they couldn’t come without gifts. The children were amazed by sweets, games and funny sketches.
However the main event is still coming. On December 28 the orphans who stay at school on holidays are going to visit oceanography museum, have dinner at church, do crafts and, of course, they watch a Christmas performance and get presents.
Let Christmas become a real holiday for the children from the orphan school too!!!

Well, one more month of visits to the orphanage in Rudensk has come to an end. Actually, this month was full of trips. 
We managed to see a lot of children and shared with them biblical stories.
The topics were diverse – we discussed how to value friendship, how to avoid repining and swearing. Also we organized a hen-party and stag-party except general meetings.
When we spoke about discontent and swearing, we heard the noise among the audience. It meant that it was a topical issue for the guys.
A lot of acquaintances of our guys often swear and it is quite difficult to stay pure among the dirt. Moreover many of them suffer from discontent. People are often discontented, but the guys from the orphanage have more reasons to be displeased. But the cure for discontent is gratefulness to
God for what He did for us.
We managed to organize a stag-party and hen-party. When the guys hear that we are going to meet separately they are happy. More children come to such kind of meetings because the topics are more interesting and we cannot discuss them together with boys and girls.
The girls speak about how to stay pure – about chastity. It is not quite popular to stay chaste this days. But chastity leads to creating of really strong relationships and family.
The boys spoke about personal hygiene. There were practical lessons – they were given different clothes – T-shirts, trousers, jackets and so on, which they had to fold. It is a valuable practical skill – how to fold clothes to keep it tidy. During that meeting we also discussed how to take care about shoes and clothes.
So the months has come to an end and we are glad that we managed to serve these guys! We will ask God to let us serve for His glory
Hello, brothers and sisters in Christ and just readers. We wish you merry Christmas and we hope that God’s care and friendship could be real in your life!
In this month we visited several boarding schools of our country. Especially I want to share with you how we visited Belynichi. Despite frosts, snow and ice, our team left on meetings with children. We believe that each meeting is unique and everything that we do there, leaves a deep imprint in the lives of children and tutors.
The discontent and grumble surround us everywhere, and it gets into boarding schools. “I am an orphan and I have the right to show discontent to bad food, to things, to people around”. But the Bible shows that the discontent and grumble destroy the person from inside and influence his relations with surrounding people.
Children share what occurs in their lives, forgetting about from what families they have taken. Abject poverty which was expressed not just in bad conditions, sometimes life-endangering, but also constant shortage of love and attention from parents. Some children remember how they wear out the same clothes for many years. Not days, but years! 
Even in spite of the fact that now their situation has changed to the best: clean clothes fitted in size, good food and summer holiday in Italy and other countries, all the same children continue to show discontent.
Using foul language became normal among children as they imitate adults. But children do not understand that they damn not other person, but themselves.
It is very difficult to orphan children to get rid of a habit to use foul language and to show discontent, but we believe that God is strong to make it. That’s why we are encouraged to lift such subjects. We believe that God is strong to give freedom to any person if that actually wants to reconcile with Him!
