Well, school year is over as well as our visits to the orphanage in Vileyka. That month was a 
terrific one for everyone. Children become more and more precious for us wi
th every visit and it’s sad to realize that we won’t be able to see them for the whole summer. The issue is that the kids are leaving for summer camps and we are not able to come to those camps with our program. However, we have planned the surprise — the camp for them in the last week of August. In my opinion this is going to be a good time for the camp because they should already miss us and also it will be a good spiritual beginning of a new school year. Please, pray for that camp so that we 
would raise enough funds, s
o that there wouldn’t be problems with cooks, the team and documents. On May we had lessons on topics of envy, treachery and the aftermath of our sinful desires. We teached the kids how not to envy, about the effects the envy can cause and the solution God offers. The same frame we used for all the lessons. I was a pleasant time because they had many questions and made their personal conclusions. Kids behavior apparently improved. The tutors say we managed to gain kids’ credibility. It’s wonderful to know we can change them with God’s help. The last gift for them was visiting of the basketball game between NBA stars and Belarusian national team. Although the kids love soccer more, it was a marv
elous event for them. Going to Minsk for a game where real professianals like Jerome Williams, David Woo
d, Paul Grant and best belarusian sportsmen played in the Sports Palace — that was unforgettable experience for children. There was a dynamic and ineresting game. Even I have never seen the game of such a high level. After the game we made the picture with the stars. Glory to God for those happy moments in the lives of orphans!

High school students in Belynichy orphanage prepare for final tests these days. 
During our visits guys passionately share with us about their progress in studies during the late week and also about their preparation for moving to new towns. It’s easy to feel how they’re nervous about something new and unknown. 
In such a period guys are in a big need of personal relationship and they’re more open to prayers. That’s why we’re focusing on communicating to each of them personally, «tet-a-tet». Besides that we had common meetings for all children, of course.
The main topics of our meetings on May were: «God is our Helper in needs» and «Faith».
Also guys from our team played volleyball with older boys this month. Sports is a wonderful opportunity to teach children how to accept wins and loses in a right way because during the game children usually fully express their characters.
For the smallest children we organized the puppet-play, 
we were watching biblical cartoons and continued learning about Bible characters on common lessons. This time we learnt about Moses and Elijah.
It’s very encouraging that kids can perceive the information and remember biblical lessons because that is very hard for them by harsh medical reasons. Our God is God of wonders! Moreover, we have success in the discipline! Our kids behave much better. Earlier, leaving the children we had our voices lost. That happened because we always had to speak louder so that the children could hear us. Now that doesn’t happen because our kids are changing for the better. These are our pleasant news!
The spring is almost over. The school year is also coming to an end and kids will 
go to different summer camps soon. Some of the orphans will not only face summer vacations but also will leave the orphan
age as this is their last year here. Now senior orphans are getting prepared for final school exams that they will have in June. Then they are going to state children camps and after that in August they will be sent to different towns to study at colleges and some of them will be sent directly to work places. T
his is the way how orphans start their adult life. In order to somehow prepare orphans for a new life out of the orphanage we as a team are more focused especially on senior orphan
s to help them out. In May we had meetings dedicated to such topics as: “How to choose a loyal friend”, “Faithfulness”, “Compassion for people”. At girls meeting and boys meeting we had a discussion called “ Not like everyone else” which appeared to be very interesting for both groups. As in everyday life orphans have a challenge to face rejection and hostile attitude from their pee
rs or adults because of the
ir disabilities and disorders this discussion was very needed. We are trying to show the orphans that being not like everyone else is not the reason to get depressed but it is a jump start for self-development. Every topic we discuss is taken from the Bible and is related to the Bible principles, it helps orphans to understand they are highly appreciated and loved by God. We try to show them that no matter what they can achieve great results thanks to suppor
t
of God. To show such a good example we invited a team of young people who go in or bike racing or bike trials for many years. The team told the orphans how much effort they must make to gain success and achieve good results as they had to fall so many times in order to rise and win then. After all this they became able to show their skills in real sport competitions. Both the staff of the orphanage and the kids were impr
essed by this meeting. Thanks God for this opportunity! It was a good example to show to senior orphans so that they would see the 
alternative to bad friendships, alcohol or drug addiction.
Junior orphans also had a good time. They had a chance to take part in sport events and games, to have Bible studying and a puppet show. The puppet show was dedicated to Easter. Thanks to the show kids were able to be reminded of our Savior. The team who was involved in the show and the puppet characters became dear friends with the orphans as this is not the 1 time they have presented the show.
Our team is grateful to God for those who is involved in the orphans ministry.
Hello everybody! It is pleasant when we spend time with a benefit not just for 
ourselves but with the benefit for those around us! We live in a society that most often runs away from the problem instead of trying to solve it. Orphanhood – is the challenge 
for the whole country, for the each church and for every individual. But most choose to ignore this challenge or justify themselves by saying that the government will take care of orphans or somebody else, not me. But today we are calling you again – do not be indifferent to the orphans!
We spoke several times about Smilovichy children’s shelter – that it is a place for the children who waiting for the judgement of the court. After the verdict some children will return to their parents (if those are capable to rai
se their children), some will go to a new family, still other will have to move permanently to an orphanage. Each orphan child needs a helping hand at least in some small thing.
When we come to this children’s shelter first thing that we feel is th
e atmosphere of warmth and acceptance from the educators. We thank God for their open hearts! They gather together children to the room where we have our meetings. This month we continued to study different qualities of our God. The children have learned that our God is pure and righteous and that there is no sin in Him and that the sin is disgusting to Hi
m. Also we explained to orphans that God is omnipresent. That He is even capable to see our hearts and thoughts. In the example of Jona we showed to the children that it is impossible to hide or run away from God. Also every meetin
g was filled with singing, games, and sometimes watching an educational video or crafts.
At the present moment there are five boys and one girl at the shelter. Some of them soon will go to the foster families. We ask you to pray that the seed that we have sawn will bring its fruit for the eternity in its own time!
Dear friends we would like to call you to do something for the help and support of the orphans in the orphanages.
